Ben was admitted to practise as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2006.
Since graduating from the University of Adelaide, Ben has practised routinely as defence counsel in a wide range of criminal matters in all South Australian jurisdictions.

Jasmine commenced working at Barbaro Thilthorpe Lawyers as a Law Clerk in 2015, while studying her Bachelor of Laws.
Jasmine graduated in 2018 and was awarded Honours as well as the Dean’s Certificate for Miscarriages of Justice.
Jasmine was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia as a Barrister and Solicitor in May 2019, after completing her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Jasmine frequently works on complex criminal matters. She has been involved in several Murder trials and High Court appeals and works regularly with preeminent Counsel.
Jasmine practises predominantly in criminal law, as well as family law and personal injury law.
Rebecca was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in March 2015, after completing her Bachelor of Laws at Charles Darwin University.
While completing her studies, Rebecca worked as a law clerk and gained a range of experience in criminal law, family law and civil litigation.
Following her admission, Rebecca commenced practice immediately primarily in the area of family law. Rebecca also worked in the Department of Community Corrections before returning to private practice in 2018.
Rebecca is an exceptional family lawyer and has extensive experience dealing with children’s issues and matrimonial property issues.
Having graduated Law with Distinction, Hamish commenced employment at Barbaro Thilthorpe Lawyers as a Law Clerk in 2018, exhibiting a strong interest in family law.
Since that time, Hamish has become an integral member of our family law team.
Hamish regularly advises clients in the areas of Family Law– including complex property matters and children’s issues. He also has an interest in areas of child protection, assets confiscation and civil litigation.
